I saw this coming, and I don’t like it.
Notice how these days, the Democrats are more preoccupied with sex than normal? I’ve heard jokes about it for all my adult life, and I have said that I won’t become a Democrat as long as their platform can be summarized with these nine words:
“Tax and Spend,
Cut and run,
Man on man.”
Recently, we’ve heard that Anthony Weiner (will somebody tell me the guy’s real name?) has slipped back into his habit of sending naughty tweets to women, and we’ve heard about San Diego Mayor Filner harassing his female employees. It’s not too surprising that Democrats are reluctant to speak out against the behavior of their own.
On the other hand, they are also becoming more tolerant of other deviant lifestyles, especially polygamy and pedophilia. I read about two heart-wrenching examples of the latter this week. First, in Michigan a teacher has been having sex with a boy in his classes for three years, and instead of condemning him, the other teachers in the district are defending him, because he also happens to be president of the Michigan Teachers’ Union:
And in Massachusetts, Senator Ed Markey has denounced the Russian law banning “non-traditional relationships” with minors, calling it a “hateful” anti-gay law, and has wondered out loud if Americans at next year’s Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia will be safe. For crying out loud, don’t we have enough problems in the US, that our congressmen are getting upset over an anti-pedophile law overseas? And does this mean Markey & Company now support child molestation? Back in the 1990s we ran the North American May-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) out of this country because neither conservatives nor liberals wanted anything to do with them; do today’s Democrats want to invite those creeps back?
I’m guessing this means leftists don’t see the Russians as good guys anymore. So what else has happened over there since the Iron Curtain came down? They instituted a flat tax. They got rid of year-round Daylight Savings Time. Homeschooling is becoming easier there than it is in the US. Vladimir Putin is more of a real man than Barack Obama. And Putin may not be a Christian, but he respects the Church, and speaks out for persecuted Christians in the Middle East. Gosh, I never thought I’d come to the day when Russian government and society look more righteous than ours!
