The Telecom Compliance News Press | The Telecom Compliance News Press – Educating Consumers about Telemarketing Compliance with State and Federal Laws

I have been on the “Do Not Call” list since they were first introduced, but I’m still bugged almost every day by telemarketers who don’t play by the rules.  The worst offenders are “Cardholder Services” offering low credit card rates, and the “Home Security” folks offering a free burglar alarm.  Aren’t robocalls like the ones they send out illegal?  I remember they were when I lived in Florida.  And the bogus numbers they cause to appear on my caller ID are a joke.  I have filed my share of complaints about these calls on DoNotCall.gov, but judging from how the number of calls is increasing, I don’t think complaining does much good.

Now here is a blog that promises to show us how to fight back against these scams.  Bookmark the link below; I just did.  Victory against spam and scams!
