General Sherman’s March, What Really Happened

Today I’m going to refer you to a lesson posted exactly ten years ago, on one of my favorite history websites, HistoryHouse.com. Last June I told you about how I went to see my daughter, and ended up following the path reportedly taken by General William Tecumseh Sherman, on his famous 1864 campaign. However, the only real evidence I saw that the Union Army had passed through the region was that it was underpopulated. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to what the webpage in the link below said about the expedition.
